Faces in the cloth
#1
I am taking a much needed break. On can only do so many little pp....I thought you might like to see this. I hand paint fabrics sometimes and make art quilts out of them. Here is a piece of fabric that was among the crazy painting day. I think I stayed too long in the sun. I have circled some for you.
on the top right, you see a figue entering. Next to that is a complete face,(keep looking), next to that is a face profile, next to that another face. Bottom row, is an african face. The more you look at this painted cloth, the more you see. Of course in person you can see so much more. This is a fabric that I drippled and smeared around on....
Oh in the back is the Christmas quilt I was woking on at the time.

Oh my gosh you are right, the more I stare the more I see. I see a big face in the middle. Don't take my word on this because I see faces in things all the time. This is fabulous.

That is very cool and kinda spooky at the same time. I definitely see the faces and figures you pointed out but if you had not circled them I don't know if I would have picked them out. Your work is amazing, everything you have posted has made me go "wow".
