I have no idea when it was made. But it has no scratches on it. It is made of metal.

Almost looks like a coffee can, but doesn't feel like one!

I love it and couldn't believe it when she told me she only wanted $2.00 for that and the fabric together.

ok, guess I will have to get back into the garage sales, I am missing out on the bargains and we "love" them so!!! Purse is so darling and the material is fabulous!!!! You did Great!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you look under Vintage Sewing Machine Shop you will see the Featherweight I also got for $50.00. She (Priscilla) is in perfect shape with attachments and manual minus the case.

Jan, that purse is adorable, and as for Prissy, you can get a case for her on ebay... :) They sell fairly cheap, actually! ;)
