This is really lovely. Yes, modern but not garish or harsh. You did a wonderful job and I look forward to a photo of your finished quilt.

Here is another style of straight line quilting that might be easier to do on your LA.

I guess this would involve quilting in one direction and then turning the quilt to go the other way but at least the throat space wouldn't be a problem.

Thanks so much for this one too. Some times I just get a brain freeze. I am liking thses simple strainght lines.

That is a striking quilt. I love it! I have a granddaughter who would love it. She loves purple. The colored strips really makes it pop!
