That is a beautiful quilt. He looks very glad to have a wonderful treasure from his mom. Tell him to hang in there when the seas in life in the Navy seem to get overwhelming. He will look back on it someday and be thankful for things it teaches him. My son served for 6 years, 4 aboard a nuclear submarine as a nuclear engineer. God bless him, tell him to keep the faith.

Thank you for your recent responses to this quilt.
My son is currently Deployed and unfortunately they lost one of their helicopters about 2 weeks ago. 2 men were killed. This really affected Wil a lot.

The quilt is beautiful-I know your son LOVES it! I made my first quilt for my son-he really appreciated it although he doesn't always show his feelings. It is something they will always have and can pass down to their children (if they have any). I feel proud of your son being in the service & hope he'll stay in the USA where he'll be safe.
