The attached pictures are of the Bow Tuck purse I started Wednesday after and finished last night. This is the first purse I have made. The pattern really went together nicely and wasn't difficult. The pattern I used wasn't the same one SulaBug (see what you started lol) used. Mine is by Quilts Illustrated, designed by Penny Sturges - ps026 Mini Bow Tucks. The size is 11" wide x 10" tall x 5" deep.

The only thing I would do differently is make the button loop a little shorter and use something to stiffen up the very top edge more. The pattern called for Pellon 987F Fusible Fleece, which is very nice to work with. This makes the purse hold it's shape but I think it would be nice for the top edge to be a little stiffer. To make the bottom a little more firm, I used a piece of plastic canvas and rounded the edges. I heard this tip from someone quite some time ago. I used variegated thread. The lining is the polka dot fabric and the inside pockets are the same fabric as the upper portion of the purse

The first picture is of the front of the purse and the second is of the back. The third picture is fabric I had, which my daughter liked, so I am going to make one of these purses for her birthday which is March 28th

Your purse is awesome!

One tip, if you like a purse that has a little more body but is still lightweight, try using headliner foam in place of the fleece. You will have to do a little quilting to hold it in place, but I love the affect it gives. When I did my purse I used regular cotton batting and quilted the lining and a little on the purse anyway.

Nice work!
