I am sewing the squares for a scrappy Arkansas Crossroads today! I am attracted to that yellow polkadot for punch! Love the golden glow of your fabric. .

Terrific color sense in your fabric collection. IMHO, I too think I would choose to add sashing between the blocks, and quilt it with gold thread using stitch-n-ditch around the overlapped squares with an oak leaf in center 4-patch of each block, then I'd quilt pine cones in the criss crosses.

Reminds me of Fall in the Arkansas mountains. Very nice. You're doing a great job.

They just finished a mystery quilt on quiltersclubofamerica.com. It comes out like this, but it is actually pieced different. It took one jelly roll and yardage. I was so excited when I figured out that it was Arkansas Crossroads as I had been wanting to make one!!!! LOVE IT!!!

I've never bought a jelly roll, or a layer cake or any of those precut bundles - but I can see why you chose this one. I love the combination. You mentioned a show in September and Sept/Oct is what this quilt (in progress - lol) says to me. Very nice!
