Lowes, etc. sells clear plastic tubing by the foot. I think I bought 1/2" or maybe 5/8" tubing. I then sub cut it into smaller pieces that will fit my bobbin (approx. 3/8") and then cut the pieces so I can put them around the bobbin.

Fantastic Idea. I'm going to make some today. I think I have all the supplies except the tubing. I've often been frustrated that it's difficult to keep the bobbin with the thread, but this will work great!
