Default My Underground RR / DW quilt is finally done!

This is my 3rd finished quilt this year, a record for me! I started this one in 2014. 12 of the URR blocks are from a swap, I added the rest. This is assembled QAYG. I still have a little hand embroidery work to add, just a few little DW (Doctor Who) easter eggs similar to the ones already added. I am so thrilled w/ this one

This is the front, the DW blocks are raw edge applique w/ wool letters (as is the wheel rim of the wagon wheel block)

The binding is bias striped

Two of the DW ee, Hello Sweetie on the log cabin, since she is the center of his world (yes I'm not in the Rose camp, he married River after all) and the boat's name Allons-y

One of the trousers since only one Doctor had ??????

The beginnings of a yellow tulip on the friendship star block, poor Martha, but it all worked out for her

And the backside.

This is not your average sampler quilt! There are so many unique squares, wonderful choice of fabrics, and beautiful quilting! Quite an heirloom!!
