Boy howdy... this quilt is super cute! You can never go wrong with shoes & purses, can you? I know your niece will just flip over this!

I so love this quilt! Adding the purses was a very nice touch. Thanks for the info on a fleece backing-will have to try that.

I was invited, recently, to a birthday party for one of my former students. It was a traditional 15th birthday party in the Hispanic culture. One of the things that happens during a part of the ceremony is that the father goes up to the girl and changes her shoes from flats to high heels. Wouldn't this type of quilt be a perfect gift for a girlhaving this type of birthday celebration?
Your quilt is beautiful. You did very nice work on it.
