Wow, what a response! I never expected that! Thankyou very much to everyone! Yes Chasing Hawk, it is my very first attempt at machine pieced and hand qulited, but I must confess that I have been a sewer all my life, making clothes and soft furnishings. I make rag rugs as well and this led me on to making quilts now that I am semi retired i have more time for such things. About ten years ago I went to a qulting course and we made some sample blocks by the hand method unfortunately they are still just that.....sample blocks, I am hoping with the heip of my quilting buddy I might get to make them up into a quilt who knows!!! Fingers crossed!!
