My Very First Quilt - Baby Rag Quilt

My niece is having a baby in December and I decided to use her as my guinea pig for quilting. I think I chose one of the hardest quilts there is to start with but I eventually finished. Hope she likes it!

What a neat variation for tumbling blocks! The baby will love playing with the "rag" edges!

That is so cool!! She is going to love it! It looks like the tumbling block pattern and that was the pattern that drew me to quilting also. However even after 7 years of quilting on/off I still haven't made one!! Keep going! You are already a great quilter~!

Very nice. I have seen and made rag quilts, but they were just fringed squares. Very nice and lots of texture for the baby.

Wow, I'm impressed! That is not a beginner's pattern and your very first one! Well, you know you shouldn't have any trouble with inset seams now. Very pretty. Love the colors.
