Well, here it is my first ever quilting project! I have to thank my SIL~Charlee for the help and inspiration to even try this. After many errors and silly goofs :shock: I finally finished.

It is a Christmas set of 4 placemants, 4 napkins and 2 hotpads. The placemats are hand quilted while I opted for machine quitling for the hotpads.

I really enjoyed the hand quilting and will definitely be doing much of my future projects with that method.

Next, is a small quilt for my daughter to replace her 25 year old "blankie" before it is completely of thing of memory!!

I couldn't get them to show up when I first posted. I went back and edited the post and then there they were!

I might have someone hold up a placemat so that the gold decorative stitching is more visible....

Tell ya what Peggy, when I get home from work YOU can hold the mat up so they can see those pretty gold snowflakes that you put on there...I'll take the picture for you!!
