looks like a disappearing 9 patch to me 8)

our walmarts still have fabric, none marked down, in fact they raised the 'better' stuff several months ago.
they still get the 'quilt of the month' stuff in at $2 a yard but it has been VERY poor quality

Ours raised prices this week on their regular stuff, no $2.99 or $3.99 yd stuff, now $4.44. The $2 yd stuff is like you said, very poor quality, very disappointing.

Well my wallyworld had material about 2 weeks ago, went the other day to get material and it was gone!!!!!. The girl told me that eventually all wally world's will do away with material.

Just another reason for me to hate that store. Now I must drive to another city for material.

This is what I don't understand, it is not just quilters that bought material from wallyfart. What about the rest of the folks that make kids clothing, their own clothes etc etc. I just goes to show that they really do not care about their customers.

Our Walmart still has fabric but I don't know for how long. The dollar material is very cheap looking nothing you can use for quilting right now. Sometimes they have some nice material on sale but not right now. If our Walmart stops selling fabric I will have to drive an hour to buy fabric. but would have a better selection.
