Thanks, that was something that really attracting me to the pattern as well. Michele Hill had used a pink braid trim like that on hers, but I decided to use the sage green on mine. I think that braid trim really kicks this quilt up a notch and gives it that "wow" factor. It wasn't hard to do, either, I just top stitched it on both edges of the trim using a color coordinated thread.

Takes my breath away! I've recently joined an applique group at my LQS and am just beginning to try my hand at it, literally because it's all hand applique. Maybe someday in the far, far future I'll be able to do a bed-sized quilt, or at least a throw.
