Today my DH took me for a ride to the Cape for a yard/estate sale. Because of traffic we didnt get there till 11(it started at 10) and all the serious quilters had been there already. But this is what I got for $20, and yes that includes the oversized ironing board. Not in the picture are about 15 pads of graph paper, those and the light box will probably go to my son's girl friend who is a graphic arts major.

one of my quilt inspectors looking over the haul!

I have super good friends that live in Orleans on the Cape!! Maybe I will have them keep an eye out for me here in Kansas City!! If they come across any good finds, I guess I would just have to plan a trip out East.....and eat a lobster or two while I am there!!!!

You had me going when you said "DH took me for a ride" and your avatar. I said how the heck did they get home with that oversized ironing board, light box etc. on the bike? I think you must have been caging it. Great haul and don't be so quick to give up that light box they come in very handy for marking a quilt. I would love to have one.

Wow what a deal. Good for you. I have one of the light tables, I use it for tracing sewing patterns out, if I do not want to cut the pattern into tons of little pieces.

    Have a blessed day.

Wow! The ironing board is super. I made the Thimbleberries plaid runner out of homespun- one with the apples and one with the oranges. Enjoy your find.
