Have you thought of perhaps subsituting a different star for January? Like the Friendship star, which is much bigger. Several of us here have changed things around a bit to suit us better. or how about applique? that's how I did my clovers for March. You can be creative to suit your needs.
    Kind Regards,
    MaryAnna

Farnsworth, have you tried Rhonda's Boston Block technique to make these blocks? Her tutorial is at http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-38879-1.htm and it works really well. I used it to make mine and they went together really easily.

Well I made an attempt at quilting tonight...and then my machine broke, so I'll be heading to the repair shop tomorrow and hopefully be up and running in a couple of days.
    Kind Regards,
    MaryAnna

Sorry to hear about the broken machine. I know how that goes. One of mine is headed for the repair shop on Thursday, but, luckily, I have a backup so can keep on stitching. Hope it doesn't take to long to get yours back.

Nice job, TexasGranny. I like what you made. Mine is done, but I'm not liking it so I may not post a picture this time.

    Bring on June!
