Agree, this is kind of a dud compared to the others. However, think of it as sunshine and I guess it works.
I have lots to catch up on.

wvdek...you are right - perhaps it is going to add that little bit of sunshine to the quilt - I have my gold and oranges and creams out - I may have to attack this tomorrow :-)

I agree, It appears someone was to busy to even think about the quilt . I could see it as a start and end but not with what we already have going. To make this row blend I am going to use the colors from all my other blocks to make a rainbow row. Each orange will be rainbow and yellow will be our background color. Hope it turns out.

Happy quilting!!!!!!!

Smiling here! I too am thinking of doing something with this month! It is just toooooooo simple and I am not one to be saying something is so easy! But seriously this is! I think too something needs to be added ... maybe applique! I will see.

Hi Wildyard! Happy to see you, getting better eh? I am going to a Quilt shoppe today! Woot it is in Delaware, called Quilters Hive .. 5000 sq ft of store! Can't wait to see it!

Take care I should sign off and get going!
I will let everyone know of what I found there!

Sharon

Hugggggs roseOfsharon, yes I am doing better, getting more use of my arm back. Having some minor difficulties but they are not keeping me from champing at the bit to piece some blocks.
I've been trying my hand at designing a few squares, and am eager to sew them up to see how it works out.
Wish I was going shopping with you!! Have a great time, as I know you will. Let me know all the goodies you find.

Finally returned home and managed to steal a day to sew before I start back to school next Monday.... I completed my July and August rows today and followed the pattern given. I know there has been some discussion about the simplicity of the August row but I for one was thankful for it. My creative juices are being used up preparing for my first graders. I will be watching to see what each of you come up with. Happy quilting!!
