I was feeling creative so wanted to try my hand at a candy corn block. My DD guessed what it was but my grandbrats guessed witches hats and candy corn. LOL.... what do you all think? I might alternate these with the choloclate kiss block. Or I might yet make the original candy blocks... hmmmmm. Choices, choices..
Wildyard, you are so creative! I just love your blocks...they're so cute! And yes, anything but those pesky small pieces will be wonderful! ;-)
Kind Regards,
MaryAnna

I just love how creative you all are and how you change the patterns to fit your own choices. Different takes that I would never think of. I tend to read the pattern and do as I'm told.

I have been printing out the patterns to do. I found this thread and got inspired! So I started Januarys this last week. HOLY MOLY!!! I don't think I have ever sewn so many little pieces. But I am going to persevere.

January is the absolute worst of all the blocks, so once you get it done, it's a piece of cake until October's block. You can do it.

Oh Ligia, I love your apples. What a cute idea. You are all caught up. I am behind again, but I've been having so much fun with my other projects, I couldn't tear myself away. I'll catch up again soon!! I like your October row too, the candy corn is really cute!

Oh good! Glad January's is the only one! I am trying to branch out more and do more complex blocks.
