Are all the patterns the same or do they just tell you to make 9 snowflakes etc and each comes up with their own idea of that?

all the patterns were the same, we each used our own choices of fabrics, and sometimes if someone didn't care for the pattern given, they would get creative. Some of us more than others. :D
If you go look at page one, you will find the link to the original site for the patterns. I think they are still there. I thought it was going to be too small so I doubled the size of all my blocks and ended up with this giant thing. LOL.. so I had to modify mine which is what you are seeing now.

Wonderful job MaryAnna!! Doesn't it feel great to have this one completed? Yours is a beauty and I love your borders. When I think back to all the challenges and THINKING this quilt gave me, LOL, I know I learned a lot and had the best fun doing it.
Hope we all get to work together on another project in the future.
Hugs and smiles, Linda

Yes, this quilt was challenging for all of us! I know I learned a lot. And the best part was working together, you all made this such a pleasure and I too look forward to working together again on another group project.

Maybe we can coax Bill into doing another one?!

Linda keep us posted on your progress, would love to see all your quilts finished...I love your new idea and think that's brilliant.

Blessings,
MaryAnna

Almost forgot a tip! If you decide on doing the piano key border, you'll need to SID on each key in order for it to lay flat (from inner border to outside edge); otherwise it will wave if you do a vine motif on your top quilting! I did a vine and I knew it would wave and that's alright- I wanted to give the keys some movement - as if someone were playing them!
Blessings,
MaryAnna
