Default Nacho

This is a quilt I made a year ago and thank goodness one of my friends saw it and wanted it. The colors were not what I envisioned and I was disappointed in it. It is a lap quilt. Hand pieced and hand quilted.

It is bold and bright but you found someone who will treasure this quilt and that is what is most important with the ones we don't want to keep.

Hand pieced and hand quilted? Wow! It is a great sampler quilt and you did a fabulous job. Kudos for continuing even tho you did not care for the colours. Your friend is a very lucky person.

Bright, bold and sunny colors. We sure can use some of that after the winter we are having!
This is how most of my quilts leave the house. You know the recipient loves it.

I LOVE it!! the various shades of orange/coral/red and yellow pop in a pleasing way not a clashing or garrish way. very harmonious and this really inspires me to use those colors in my next quilt!! Completely by hand!! What a lucky friend you have!

What a beauty! I see some "sun-goddess" basking on it.

I love the blocks patterns and the narrow sashing. I like red orange and yellow but whooo it is a spicy nacho!

Hand pieced and quilted is a wonderful thing, very special gift!
