Funny--I was looking through old quilt magazines and print outs last night (and all week) while I ice a swollen knee and I came across a pattern I'd printed out for Shade Cascade and I said "That's it!" It is the same as Thinking Outside the Block--just the color changes. It was a free pattern I think. Let me know if you need help with directions, I don't want to copy, but it's simple enough to talk you through it.

Gorgeous quilts on show here! Love them and what a steal for $40! It is a variation of thinking outside the box and is called Shade Cascade. Lovely pattern.

To me, it looks like a variation of a log cabin. This is a really good buy for $40.

That was a GREAT buy! Think I saw this pattern on Keepsake Quilting catalog, cannot remember the name though.
