ScrappyCat asked me to post pix of the trout quilt I made. This is a photo of the whole quilt. I will post a separate post with closeups of each trout so you can see the batik fabrics and the quilting.

I tried really hard to color the trout as closely as possible to the real deal. I donated the quilt to Trout Unlimited to auction off. They made some good money from it, and they are a conservation organization dedicated to clean waterways. Good for the trout and good for us too!

If my husband see this, I'll have to make the fish shorter and they'd be crappy's. Really cute!

They would be cute too! And I agree, this would be a cool quilt at a camp or cabin. One fish would make a good table runner. Or you could "mount" it over the fireplace like a trophy fish!
