LOL I think my mom wore him out on flowers and he just needed something different. The farm house (where they used to live) had Waverly wallpaper with big red/pink roses in the dining room and she had a couple of chairs to match (now in my guest room so she can come visit them :lol: ) It looked pretty Victorian and not farm house decor.

I am really happy I started over and ended up with this quilt for dad-I should post pictures of the other one, but it has a bad case of YUCK! I buried it under some other UFOs. :lol:

I LOVE,LOVE this quilt. I know your Dad must love it too. It has such wonderful colors and the layout is great. I'm going to keep a pic in my file for inspiration. Thanks for sharing. Great job.
