Nature quilt for my son

This one took me about a year. I fabric painted all the panels, designed it as I went, FMQed it all myself and had no idea what I was doing the entire time :) Lots of improvising! He lives in Montana and couldn't wait to get it. His kitty is quite happy too I hear.

That is so awsome..........are they pillow forms?
I love it and that is like the one I want to make for one of my son's......Years ago I made one with pillow forms, didn't know a thing about quilting but did my best. Came out to small for his double bed but he liked it alot and still has it. I was thinking about trying to make a his and her's quilt. Nature on one side and flowers or something girly on the other. What do you think???

Came out to small for his double bed but he liked it alot and still has it. I was thinking about trying to make a his and her's quilt. Nature on one side and flowers or something girly on the other.
