Default Neavoux Dbl Wedding Ring Quilt in Progress

After some months of indecision, I finally decided to throw caution to the wind and try one of the many types of DWR. I settled on Eleanor Burns' Neavou as I felt it was doable by me. I have learned a lot about this particular process and I will share them with you when I complete this quilt. The quilt is for my DGD who is getting married in September. Asked what colors her bedroom would be and she said, "Black, grey and white." When I ordered my fabric on line, I thought the tan was more of a gold. I decided on a black background as she has a black cat that sleeps on her bed and why not? I plan to make him his own matching quilt for easy laundering. She will be thrilled. So here is what I have so far.

That's really nice and when you get the rest of it done, we need to see it - I'm sure it's going to be fabulous!

You are doing a marvelous job. I think it's so cute that the kitty will have his own too.
