Love the way those kaleidoscopes turned out. The whole thing looks so good to me, I wouldn't even begin to give advise.

Gorgeous fabrics & together they blend so well. You have a winner there. You could go bigger if you think you'll need it, but otherwise it's fine. Is it for a tall person?

This is just gorgeous. I love your colors and fabric choices. And the size would not bother me at all. It is your choice. Thank You for sharing.

I love your use of the kaleidoscopes! Very interesting placement! And I love the way you incorporated the original fabric. Your construction ideas are really good.

If you are going to add length I would add the same amt at top and bottom. That way your center block will still be in the center and it won't look so much like you added on to get more length. It will be more balanced looking. So if you are going to add 6" more then add a 3" strip at the top and a 3" at the bottom. I would add the same fabric you are going to use for the border. It will blend and not be as noticable that you added more to make it longer.

I don't think size really matters unless you're putting it on a bed. (That really doesn't sound right! ) If it's going to be a wall hanging or lap quilt I think 76" square is great.

What you have so far there is gorgeous! Please post pictures when you get done with it!

I like the idea of more purple arounwd the outside. However, don't you know the quilters rule? "Whoever dies with the most fabric wins?"
