I have a ton of this fish batik in all colors and i'm trying to figure out what to do with it.

This is a mug rug for swapping.

I really like playing with the batiks they are sooo unusual, right down my alley.

Think I'll do a series of fish, then decide if i want to place them in a quilt.............any ideas?

I'm not a fish person but I really like these. Beautiful fabric and looks great as a mug rug:)

The fish are very pretty. Possibly cut them into large squares and then make another block with maybe 9 patches or four patches and alternate them.

I don't know what size your fish are but perhaps you could fussy cut some and try them in the Warm Wishes pattern? I think some kind of a larger block to feature the fish would look nice.

Love these fish! Maybe have them swimming amongst reeds, landscape style? A few rocks at the bottom? :D:D:D

Those are really cute. I have the same fabric with a darker background and I make a queen size quilt of just that fabric. I put flannel on the back and just quilted it. I had a hard time deciding on how to cut the fabric up so I just cut it in half and sewed it together. Nice, quick quilt for me!!! I can't wait to see what you decide to do with it.
