I love the color choices. The border would look great if you put a narrow (1/2 to 1 inch) border of one of the lighter colors between the black and outer border. Looking forward to pics of the finished quilt.

Those are beautiful batiks and there's enough difference in value and contrasting colors to make the quilt stunning. Sashing with black will make it even more gorgeous

You might want to add some fabrics that aren't as bright as the ones you have for contrast (not pastels, but something less intense). With all colors the same intensity I fear it will look like just a muddle of colors. (I've made the same mistake with pastels. Each one was beautiful, but when squished all together you couldn't see the block patterns at all. Try a couple of sample blocks to be safe.

I think so, you have a good selection of lights and darks. With the black background it should be great.

i love brights! and those tonga treats are going to bounce off the black! use the dark purple fro the backing. i have to admit, i love timeless treasures tonga line! i unabashedly love being a brights person. doubt i will ever be a serene quilter. lol

If you have any pieces left from each fabric I think a piano key border would be striking against the black sashing. It would bring all your colors together on the border. But, don't know if you have enough fabric for that.
