Yes, I'm still working on this one...I do get distracted wayy to easily. Anyway..I've completed all the in the ditch for all the FG, stars and pinwheels. I've quilted around the outside of all the applique and I quilted all of the trapunto hears. That leaves this one appliqued heart to do. I thought that I would do it feathered, like the trapunto hearts...but now...I'm just not sure that is the answer.

I tried it once using an ivory thread on the outside of the heart and mono on the inside....wasn't sure about that, so I did it again using the same tan thread for all of it that I used on the trapunto...still ....I just don't know whether I should use 1 of these options...or unsew both of them and do something entirely different.....help.....please :? :?

Trapunto heart....didn't notice how bad it was until I saw it posted...hmmm...going to have to go back and fix the mess

Wow!! You are doing an awesome job!! I like the first picture where you have used the monofilament thread on the heart and the tan thread on the outside. In my opinion, the tan thread on top of the heart draws more attention to the thread and less to the heart. I cannot wait to see it all quilted!! It's beautiful!

the only reason you saw the problem with your stitching was because you were viewing it in an enlarged photo. I bet that anyone viewing the quilt would never even be aware of what you perceive to be a problem.

It is beautiful and you are doing a great job! Carry on!! We all love it.
