Default The Never Ending top is done!

Just finished sewing the last corner on and I really like this! It's kind of country and cutesy but, it makes me smile.

The pattern is Magic Flowers from the May 2010 issue of American Quilter using CW repros instead of the magazine one in pink and blue. I also added the hearts and the border. The background is Kona Cotton in Ivory. The applique was done using heat resistant Mylar cut out in the heart shapes to turn under the edges with starch and sewn on with Sulky monofilament on the top and thread that matches the background in the bobbin.

On to my niece and her husband and their two little girls. I have them basically figured out (went really simple for the girls), then one for my sister and her husband. I need to do another flannel rag quilt for my second grandson for Xmas, got one done. Mama doesn't want a bunch more toys as they have too many and hardly play with them.

Really, too many planned to even think about!

Very nice and the border really compliments the quilt.

It turned out just lovely! Now get cracking on the quilting so we can see it finished.
