I just took my clothes of the line. Love hanging clothes and bedding out on it. The line we use has airplane cable surrounded by plastic.
Love your quilt too!!!

I love your clothes line and you'll really appreciate it. The money you spent on it will be well worth it in the long run. I use my clothes line all the time - there is nothing like the clean fresh smell from drying things on the line.

I sure hung many clothes on the line and wish I had one today. I do have the wooden rack that I use for personals. My Mom never had a dryer either and she never drove a car:::LOL

Brings back pleasant memories when I was young. My Grandma would make me utility quilts and she would apply a wide silk binding to them. My mother would then wash the quilt weekly and as they hung out to dry I would tug on one corner to release the hold of the clothes pin, twirl myself up into the quilt, use one hand to rub the border between my fingers, use the opposite hand to suck my thumb, and stand there four hours in bliss smelling the air dried blanket. Somewhat similar to the Frebreeze commercials you see on TV today. LOL

Although I have had a dryer for years I never use it. I love hanging the clothes out and I love the fresh smell of them from drying in the outdoors. With the temps in Fla. one can barely afford the AC let alone a clothes drye as well..

That's the kind of clothes line hookup we used to have when we lived in Brooklyn, one wheel attached to window frame and the other to a pole in the back of our backyard. Also had a bag for clothespins by the window. Everything was supposed to be hung in size. I hung clothes out whatever way I could, they still got dried the same even if they weren't in size place. My baby's cloth diapers were so soft after line drying.

Now I have one of those umbrella dryers in my back yard but due to arthritis I can't carry baskets out there and back so I rarely use it. May in Jersey

Where I live they would have a cow if I tried to hang clothes on a line outside.

I hung clothes for many years, too many trees and the birds aren't picky where they go potty. Clothes hanging on a line is always a perfect spot. I like the softness of them coming out on the dryer, Like the speed of drying also.
Nice set up, good for you.
