    Well, I finally plucked up the courage to take my neighbour the lap quilt I made her! She seemed a bit embarressed but I think she liked it. She said it was beautiful colours and she'd put it on the sofa and she said thank you twice! She's a typical, no nonsense French country lady so for her, that was effusive praise indeed. I'm so happy she liked it - she's done so much for us, looking after chooks and caat when we're away, advising on gardening, giving veggie plants and surplus veggies. She and her hubby are great neighbours and I'm glad I could make her something she liked.

    I embroidered 'Friendship Stars' in French on the back;

    She is obviously thrilled with it - I bet no-one gets to sit on the sofa for a while!
