A great way to use up scraps in the logcabin block and just continue to make a bag. Hope I can remember this idea.

Please alert me when you post a picture of yours!! I would love to see it (and don't get on here often).

For the question on strip widths--1" and 1.5".

I did have a complete sentence to start my post, but it seems it was edited.

It is so nice to see your floral log cabins again. I have really missed them, they really "speak" to me. The bags are super and the first one, I would beg, borrow or steal.

Absolutely love the floral log cabin blocks......Have tons (and I do mean tons) of floral fabrics waiting for a king size quilt, so now I know where all the leftovers are going. MMMMMMMMM, love the look. Thanks for sharing.

You make the best floral log cabins. What a neat idea. I also make a lot of bags, they are one of my favourite things to do. Love yours, thank you for sharing.

I can hardly wait to see your uneven LC blocks together. I have been collecting pinks for a uneven LC, but now I want to switch to florals for a wallhanging for my living room. Your eye for color is wonderful.

Thanks for all the kind replies. I sewed some today--added two borders to each of the log cabin blocks, added two strips to each of the fall blocks, and added borders to some Talk-About Book pages. A little on a lot. Hopefully I can do more tonight. I'll post the fall ones when I'm done...

    Must hurry! School starts soon!
