Beautiful floral log cabin blocks, I would like to do one too. Very nice bags, looks like they could hold lots of things. Amazing work.

I saw the small blocks too but, thought maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me! I went back and took another look. They are beautiful though.

    Your tote bag

Could you tell me what fabric line you used for your beautiful floral tote bag?

So, next I experimented with using leftover blocks--trying to work measurements out with the bottom, and I wanted to try French seams. I make a fabric envelope for a heavy piece of plastic or cardboard for the bottom. I was happy with how all that came out.

So, now I have bag designs whirling in my head, BUT I need to finish a few more Talk-About Books first. I've made 22 of those so far...nine have sold. I'm building stock for a big craft show at the end of September.

What are "Talk-About Books"? And I love your floral log cabin blocks!

Hi! If those who are curious about the books do a search here--a post with photos will come up. I'll post a few here in case you can't find them. Pattern is not available; I created it. I can't copy it because the "Peek-a-boo" blocks are in a quilt called "Surprise" and the design is by Karie Patch. She gave me permission to use it for the books. http://www.kariepatch.com/store/WsDe...p?Cat=Patterns

Well barnbum I've never seen floral log cabin blocks before and they are wonderful! I love them! A while ago I bought a jelly roll of various florals for $2 (quilter's guild flea market). They sat and sat, and finally I made that super quick strip top to use it up. Darn! They'd have been perfect for some of your blocks. Thanks for posting.
