Since I'm trying to learn to embroider and I'm too cheap to waste the thread and stabalizer  , I decided to finally make the cats a quilt all their own. Since we have (and have had) sooo many I decided not to leave anyone out. So, the 3 house cats that we currently own (well, own us) have their names on the front and all the others...alive or just alive in our memories have their names on the back. Geee..we didn't realize there were soo many! It worked out nicely I think and the cats haven't gotten off of it since I finished quilting and put it down for them

an example of the kitty blocks on front, they are all different

That is sooooo cute. I love the way the corners go together to make pinwheels. Very clever.

That's beautiful, it's amazing how they wrap themselves into our hearts and touch our lives! I hope they enjoy it for a very long time.

Thank you, thank you! There are really only 2 blocks that alternate.
They are 7 1/2" blocks and it was really easy to make. I don't know the name of the blocks, but it was a pattern called "Windows" oy M'Liss Rae Hawley from her book fat quarter quilts
