That is absolutely gorgeous!!!! I have only dabbled with fusible applique but want to try some more different methods. Thanks for the post. You did a fabulous job.

I don't have a favorite method of appliqué because I don't care to do it. I love the look of it because of the detail, but it's too slow for me. Yours is beautiful and I can appreciate the time and effort that goes into each project, whether hand or machine done. But I tell you this, if I saw a pattern, and I really wanted to do it, I would. I just made a few bibs that were machine appliqued-small and finished fast.

That just takes my breath away! Absolutely gorgeous!!
Sounds like a VERY easy way to applique, I may have to try that!
Right now I am hooked on the "back basting" technique.

Lovely. I have used most of you methods and mostly use needle turn. I would like to start using blanket stitch and the machine applique.
