Red face a new queen sized quilt top finished today

I've been struggling with getting this together- ran out of certian fabric & had to find a replacement 2 or 3 times- i have 2 large boxes full of nautical/lighthouse/sailing related fabrics & none of the blues were right with what i started with---that's what i get for just jumping in with a fabric i wanted to use up- then finding i have nothing to go with it---it was a challenge but i finally managed to get it to the queen size i needed- and it doesn't look so bad on the bed- i still now have to figure out a backing & get it quilted & bound- but at least the hard part is done

Doesn't look so bad on the bed??? I'll say not! It looks beautiful. Congratulations on coming up with a very attractive layout for your nautical prints.

That is very striking. Everyone will think you have executed it perfectly and think you planned it that way.

thank you everyone- i love it when a (plan comes together)
i don't know why i had so much trouble with this one- well i do know why- the teal blue fabrics not going with all the sky blues i have in my stash-but i managed- now i really need to get busy & productive- get a couple more put together...i also need to figure out backing for this one...i need a new serge protector before i can plug the long-arm back in- so ---gosh maybe i need to make a list....
