Default Colonial Courtin' It's growing!

As promised, here is the latest up date on my next project. Working on side panels now, I think they will be pieced and appliqued? Will keep posting as it grows.

First post on colonial courtin':
Some have asked “what next”, well since I’m new at this and wanted to try something besides scrappy quilts, I dug out this 20 to 25 year old Peter Pan material (no, it didn’t fall apart when I washed it)and decided to do something with it. I have been fascinated by “fussy cut” so I’m try my hand at it. The first picture is the pillow fabric and matching stripe and the second picture are 2 blocks I have come up with. Don’t know what the finished product will look like yet, but watch for Colonial Courtin’ as that is the name I’m coming up with.

Bubble,

You have turned a sow's ear into a silk purse. This is lovely!
