I never thought about it that way, but your right.
It takes a long time, their is a lot of learning along the way, sometimes we get sick of the whole process, then we get excited when there are signs that things are 'moving' along...
it can cost a chunk of money, and there are many physical pains as well as a lot of emotional attachment before we finally feel the job is finished.
Then we give it a name and put our stamp of !phew! approval on it's backside, before sending it off with our love.
yup, that's one pretty baby you got there, earlylace. How many do you plan to have?!
From the stack of WIP's in my sew-cave, I guess I don't believe in birth control!

I just love your quilt. I'm a sucker for anything with pink roses. So, what's next?

More children on their way! Beautiful work. You do realize it's only the beginning. The more children you have you need more toys to help with the delivery, then more material and oh yea don't forget more room for everything! Oh my-you'll be hooked like the rest of us! Keep up the nice work.

What a wonderful job you did, never know it's a first. Love the color choices and quilting. Your granddaughter will treasure it I am sure. Continue with the great work and keep us posted.
