... you just tell that wonderful kid that she has a Canuck beaming with pride for her!

I'm still in shock though, at her choosing that Jersey, over the OKGuernseys.
*gasp*

What a wonderful summer sewing bee that will be with the four GDs!
Hopefully it will become an annual tradition for the five of you.
... maybe their mothers will join in too?

Thanks, Sherry...the quilt goes onto State Fair. Did you make it down to the Fair? It was in the center display of the 4-H building. The 10 yo wasn't eligible for SF, but she got a super blue on her pillowcases.

They did an awesome job on their projects, do you mind sharing the name of the quilt pattern that she used?

That's great - going to the state fair! So wonderful to be able to share your love of sewing and quilting with your grands.

We didn't get to the HCF this week - we've had a busy summer so far, and then the weather keeps throwing us curve balls, we got 7.5 inches of rain early Friday morning - 6 of it in about 2-3 hours. So many houses had water in their lower levels because their sump pumps couldn't keep up. We didn't have any water in ours, but both of our kids that live here did so that's how we spent most of Friday/Saturday. And most everyone in Kasson is getting a new roof/siding because we had 2 to 4 inch sized hail at the beginning of the month. LOL - that was a long answer where 'no' would have been sufficient! Anyway, I saw some pics on FB - did you have bad weather today for the fair?

Nasty weather everywhere this year. Started to rain around 3 on Sunday and just poured down with wind...I'm sure you know lots of trees down in town. Hope your folks didn't have any problems. Power off around 3:30 and off until 12:30 am. Late night milking cows!

This is a modified version of the Warm Wishes Pattern using a 5 inch cut for the squares. The strip sets were made from one 2 1/2" cut and two 1.75" cuts with added borders of 2 1/2" and 6 1/2".
