I am not normally a fan of Dresden Plates, but this is a very creative use of this fabric. Thanks for posting.

What a unique pattern choice for your NYC fabric! You captured the look of the busy city..especially with your colored binding. I also like your quilting design choice. Thanks for showing us your wonderful work.

Very creative use of the fabric. I think your quilt is stunning. The border treatment is perfect. I know you will enjoy this art quilt every time you look at it. Thank you for sharing your wonderful creation.

Just to add to above. I used a 10 degree wedge ruler and the Dresden's are 12 inch long. Total size of piece is 34x36.
At first it was just OK but then when I went back to it (after mths) and started looking at the piece it got more interesting so I ran Sashiko Stitches from each point of Dresden to quilt it...I have the Babylock Sashiko Machine.
Once I added the binding I no longer was going to use it just as a table topper but hang it as a wall hanging.

I love what you did with it. I have the same fabric in color. I also did something similar. Mine isn't finished yet. I would love to have a Sashiko Machine.
