I am very pleased with my embroidered table topper (kinda big 33 x 56). I used the machine embroidery designs from John Deere, used a black satin striped decorator fabric for embroidery, also embroidered the sashing and did it on satin type material, and used a satin material for the puffing (first time I did puffing - it was easy).

Didn't want to cover up anything so I used 2 wine glasses that also had black bottoms and found some small grapes as local craft store to put in the middle.

Today I was looking for a plain round table cloth to go with this for the accent table in corner of dining room and was thrilled to find the grape themed tablecloth, as well as napkins (used one on top of round table and the other in glass with grapes).

Wouldn't normally used black in dining room but just thought the embroidered fruit would stand out, and it did. Looks a lot nicer in person.

A happy camper
Karen

By "puffing" do you mean "shirring" the sashing? I've never heard it called puffing. Anyway, I do like the overall project. REally nice colors!!!
