I want to say thanks to this group, for what would be something simple to some, to me they are wonderful ideas that I didn't know. When I finished this quilt, I was so proud of myself, I just had to show it off. This is my first quilt that I didn't do SID (I learned what SID meant here). This quilt was for my neighbor's daughter and when I gave it to my neighbor she loved it. She asked me if I would do one for the daughter's son. She didn't think it was fair that the new baby would have a quilt and not the 2yr. son. Told her, "Sorry, cannot do it" Then she asked if I could fix some of her pants. Told her, "sorry but I just do quilts" learned how to respond back in here. There is so many new projects I want to try that I see here. So, "Thank You All" and God Bless Y'All.
now I just have to learn how to put a picture for my avatar.

That's a cute quilt and the work is very nice, too. I agree. Only do what you really enjoy making.

Beautiful quilt!!! I also had to learn to say NO and not get roped into something I didn't want to do.
I have had total strangers ask me to make something for them and not offer to pay or even buy the material. Now, I just reply that I'm busy and don't have the time.
