I made this baby quilt and tote from scraps except for the lining of tote and backing of quilt. Had to buy that. It does match one of the squares. This is for my niece who is expecting a girl the end September. The shower is on Sat. Her room is done is purple and bright green. The tote is very large and I am putting in 2 packs of diapers, a carton of 5 boxes of wipes, ointment, shampoo, hand sanitizer and a dispenser box of plastic bags to throw away the stinky diaper when there is nowhere to throw it away. (found those in the dollar store)

The quilt kind of ended up larger than a crib size which is typical when I start creating on my own. However it will make a good cover when mom/dad are up during the night and sitting in the rocking chair feeding her.
