    Noodle Quilt with Embroidery

It's been a while since I posted anything - accidently placed this in a blog, and figured that was wrong - this is my quilt made with NOODLES (2 1/2" strips like jelly rolls) from a swap on this site last year - added Embroidery and FMQ to finish it off.

That's pretty. I've never heard of a noodle quilt so I just had to look. I may try one. Thanks for sharing.

So sweet. The way the strips are stacked, they look like the mattress pile in Princess and the Pea! Perhaps someone could do a quilt in that theme

Very pretty and fresh feeling quilt. It just makes me yhink of walking into a room with beautiful wood floors and antiques around and the room being so clean and fresh. The colors are lovely and the embroidery makes it look so handmade, like the maker put so much love into it.

Those colors are so dreamy & you're right... the white just goes with them perfectly. Add in the fabulous embroidery & you've got a stunning quilt! I love it! And BTW... weren't 2.5" strips called "noodles" long before they were "jelly rolls"? I remember hearing that term quite a while ago.
