A while back there was a "NOODLE SWAP" 2.5" width of fabric strips were sent in, switched around, and sent out to all of us involved in the swap. I seperated mine into colors that seemed to go together, added a few from my stash and made this quilt. I have another in the works - much lighter look, just need to get some "white" batting since there is quite a bit of white in it. Hope you like it...I've seen this pattern refered to as Log Cabin on Steroids??
Swaps are Great!

Great job! It reminds me of a braided rug the way the colors wrap around from all the different fabrics.

That's exactly what I thought. I can remember my great-grandmother braiding rugs and she always used what she could find so the colors were never matched. And they wore like iron!!
