Nothing like waiting to the last minute!

Gee, I had all year to make some things, quilts, runners, trivets, purses, etc. So instead, I was up to midnight last nite making these 4 runners for a group of my co-workers that are getting together tonite. I have yet to wrap, since I have an hour drive after work, but that is small details, right?

10 minute runners (took me more than 10 minutes, except for the last one I think I did that one in 10 minutes since I was in the groove)

I haven't tried these yet... but as you say they take more than 10 minutes until your third one. I want to make that one first!

Wonderful gifts! They are going to love getting them. Tissue and a gift bag is all you need...that is fast and easy.

Amazing to get those done in such a tight time frame, but the best part is that you were able to get them posted, also. Great job.

At lest you finished them, is't it funny how we wll procrastinate on the easy to finish stuff. At least you didnt give them kits to finish themselves

Everyone loved their table runners. They thought they were the best gift ever! I didn't get home til wee hours of the morning! I got more to make but they will have to wait til another weekend. They are fun and really quick! Thanks for the compliment.

Next year I got the to be proactive on making a stash of gift items. This waiting til the last minute is making for the short hours of sleep! Maybe this will be my boost I need to get busy for next year gifts.

I started making the 10 minute table runners last year for fall presents; then Christmas; Valentine's Day; St. Patrick's Day.....yes, they are addictive and a great "excuse" to use all the beautiful themed fabric that you are never quite sure what to use it for. Now my non sewing friends have started requesting them because they are a nice seasonal touch through the year, without having to change other decor, plus they are perfect for small spaces! They do end up getting much quicker to make.
