Thumbs up Running with an miniature idea, thanks n2scraplvr

Recently n2scraplver posted a quick and easy quilt plan.

http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...d-t175057.html

I'm always up for a challenge so I downsized her plan. Instead of 4" 4patches, mine are 1". I also made fewer blocks for this mini.

First pic--just the center of my "quilt"
Second--if I add a small border it will fit AAQI requirements of less than 9 x 12
Third--putting it on point makes it larger and not for AAQI, but,,,,,

Wow! Fantastic, G! WTG, girl!!! You got it now! #2 looks super! All 3 look great, but by having the darkest border as in #2, it adds depth, warmth, hominess, connection, balance and brings the white stars forward the most!!! It actually coordinates best with the colors of the flowers you chose too. Oh, now I see that you eliminated the alternate blocks so this makes a quick quilt even quicker!! Great!!

p.s. yes, QuiltnNan is right! The navy blue one on pt. loses all the depth you had with the darkest border of #2. Can you see how the lighter navy color washes away the effect?

Gladie; you are at it again! Making tiny pieces look beautiful and fun to make. I like the star pattern that immerges with the white pieces.
