Great choice of fabric. Never would have thought of it! From close before cut: definete chicken wonder. Cut from a distance: an explosion of color, Cut up close: like being in a fun house with a bunch of chickens! Very striking.

Thank you all! sawsan, it was an 8" repeat so I used 12 repeats, I bought 3 yards. :D

How neat! From a distance, you see a beautiful OBW quilt with gorgeous colors. Up close, the chickens appear! Cool!

OH, MY, ROLL MY CHICKEN is right!! I love it!! I could spend a lot of time, just looking and seeing how many different ones I could pick out. It is so unusual from the others you have done!!
Gong to learn this, but made a promise I would get caught up some first :roll: It is so hard for me to be a "big girl" and stick to it. :lol: :lol:

OMG!!! What a striking quilt. My dear departed MIL would have loved to have this quilt, she collected anything and everything to do with chickens and hens!!! The quilt when finished is like a kaleiscope. Beautiful work!!!
