I love it. I really think the blue is perfect in it.

I love your quilt. The pattern fascinates me--I love the way you see curves even though it's all straight llines!

Your Ocean Waves quilt is fantastic! What a fun thing to do at a retreat. I don't yet know how to paper piece. Was it hard to do? I think the blue gives the quilt a cool feeling and looks good.

It was very hard for me to do. I hate sewing upside down as you do with pp. I had only looked at the finished pattern when I ordered the kit and didn't realize it was pp. I knew that if I didn't do it at the retreat it would just sit in my sewing room and never get done. My friends at the retreat cheered me on until I got it done. Took me the whole retreat to finish it. There are 8 of us that go. But now that it is done I really like it, wouildn't do another pp though I don't thnk. I prefer foundation instead, you can see what you are doing. Soon as I figure a different block for those blue corners, I will put it together.

That is the name I know it as, try about.com, or, quilterscache.com and see if they don't bring it up. Connecting threads must have sold out, sorry.

It looks like it could be Storm at Sea - or some variation.

Great job with your paper-piecing!

Pat, I love the blue! I think it gives the quilt "motion" just like waves. Beautiful! But if you really don't like it, I'll be happy to take it off your hands! :D :D
